What is virtual number?
A virtual number is simply a second (or third) line on your cell phone – you can make calls from it using the QuickCall app, and you can have people call you on your virtual number. This is helpful if you want to have a separate business line. Also, it’s useful to save your customers or friends money if they are calling you from another country. For example, if you live in China but you do business with a lot of USA people, you can get a virtual USA phone number. It’s cheap or free for them to call to your USA number, and you pay a low rate when making calls to them from your number.
How does it work?
Give your friends and colleagues your virtual number, and their calls will automatically ring to your QuickCall app. You’ll be able to see the difference between calls coming to your primary cell phone number and your QuickCall virtual number. To make a call, go to Settings to select which phone number you want to use to make calls. When you call from your virtual number, it will appear that you are calling from the country you chose (e.g. if you subscribed to a USA number, the calls will appear to be coming from a USA phone).
How do I choose a virtual number?
Select the country where you want the number to originate, and complete the signup process. You will be charged a monthly fee upfront (varies by country) which includes a set amount of free inbound minutes. When you make calls from the virtual number, you will be charged a per-minute fee (rate is shown when you enter the phone number to call). You can buy multiple subscriptions – as many virtual numbers as you like. Sign up for each subscription separately. You must have enough credits in your prepaid account to purchase a subscription. All purchases are in USD.
How do I pay?
You can pay with credit card (in some countries), PayPal, or in-app payments. All subscription and call minutes charges are in USD and will be debited from your prepaid balance. Set up AutoPay to avoid service interruption. You may cancel at any time; your virtual number will be held for 48 hours after cancellation or non-payment, after which time the number will be removed from your account and may not be reusable. How much does it cost?
Price varies by country. Each subscription includes the number, voice mail, and a generous allowance of inbound call minutes. All outbound calls will be charged on a per-minute basis at our low rates (your app will show you the rate when you type in a number to call). You must have enough credits in your prepaid account to cover subscription fees and any call minutes. Add credits in-app or online in MyAccount. Set up AutoPay for easiest convenience – you can adjust how much you want to add automatically each period.
